Features an 8" tall, 18 GA, 3/4" mesh screen to restrict rain, snow, debris and animals from entering your fireplace. While the construction of this cap is impressive, it also features a special dip paint system that gives it a beautiful low gloss high temp enamel finish. A handmade rolled rim on the lid adds a personal touch to the lid. This sturdy cap will save you a lot of aggravation with its weld nut technology.
