A gorgeous sterling silver necklace, set with an authentic Aztec First Sun God 1 oz Silver Round BU Uncirculated Coin. Obverse: displays an artistic rendition of Mictlantecuhtli hunched atop a pile of skulls, 1 oz 999 Ag etched into a boulder beside him. Reverse: displays a detailed stone skull, encompassed by Aztec inspired reliefs. The coin bezel frame is well designed with classic ropes, about 2.32"(59 mm) x 1.84"(47 mm), and made of solid 925 sterling silver. It comes with a 24" 925 sterling silver chain and also a beautiful gift box, so the pendant is ready to wear when it arrives. The whole piece is heavy. I hope you end up with one of these beautiful silver coin necklaces. This necklace will be great for gift, investment purpose or just adding to your coin/jewelry collection. I will be happy to combine shipping for multiple items. Let me know if you have any question. Thanks!

  • Aztec First Sun God 1 oz Silver Round BU Uncirculated Coin.
  • Obverse: Aztec Sun Stone. The reverse of the beautiful Aztec round features the stone of Axayacatl, which is often called the Aztec calendar stone and is more properly known as the Sun Stone. At the center of the stone, the face of the god Tonatiuh represents the current Aztec world - the Fifth Sun. The surrounding symbols represent the calendric signs of the past four eras.
  • Reverse: Tezcatlipoca - The First Sun God. In Aztec times (14th–16th Century AD), Tezcatlipoca presided with his peers at the summit of the divine hierarchy. He reigned together with Huitzilopochtli, Tlaloc, and Quetzalcóatl. Tezcatlipoca was also known as Yoalli Ehécatl (“Night Wind”), Yaotl (“Warrior”), and Telpochtli (“Young Man”).
